Overview:
LKD publishing authors have published this curriculum, targeting primary levels, to provide an easy way to infuse coding into your existing curriculum, using the Scratch 3.0 free programming language and Scratch platforms.
There are 15 lessons provided per grade that consist of: a lesson plan including a video animation of the final project, sequenced instructions to create the project, the code scripts that students can copy to run the project and finally, an extra challenge section for students to continue the project (that can assess the students' capabilities). Teacher guides are also provided for all lessons, which give an overview of the concepts covered by the lesson, and a detailed explanation of the code scripts to make it easier for teachers to explain to students.
Students will create several exciting projects using Scratch 3.0 and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animations. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically.
